South Bank’s Best Lebanese restaurant is back better than ever!

Seeded from humble beginnings, Baba Ganouj has hit level up with an all-new aesthetic, location and drool-worthy menu.

The restaurant just relaunched on Thursday, July 13 at a bigger and better location on Little Stanley Street, South Bank where a journey of unique flavours and aromatic experiences awaits you. Known for its rich history, the culinary talent, Sayed Saleh, has embraced his Lebanese heritage, inspired by his own mother’s treasured recipes. In Sayed’s own words, be prepared to land straight on “the vibrant streets of Lebanon”…

The new restaurant design, by Space Cube Design Studio, pays homage to the region by featuring pointed archways and curves paired with natural elements of stone, timber and terrazzo. The elegant hints of bronze by the bar also add a rich depth to the space, complete with hanging pendants.

So take a seat in the commons for a relaxing atmosphere or enjoy a private dining room experience, seating up to 12 guests perhaps the next locale for a birthday soiree…

Start the night off with authentic Mediterranean dips before moving on to a menu abound with mezza and a fair of salads and irresistable signature dishes. A particularly noteworthy dish is the kebbe nayeh consisting of minced lamb mixed with Lebanese spices and drizzled with olive oil, onion mint and paired with saj bread – delish! Or the classic signatures of ouzeh slow-cooked lamb with oriental rice and sauce or the mixed shawarma skewers.

Pair and share with friends by enjoying one of their signature share cocktails too! From a refreshing list of sophisticated concoctions, try The Stargazer featuring vodka, blue curacao, citrus, lemonade and cassis. Or try The ‘J’ Juice for a blend of blanco rum, Spanish liqueur, passionfruit, pineapple, apple and lemonade.

If you’re looking to indulge in more than a quick bite and a drink, enjoy a leisurely banquet of Lebanese cuisine starting from just $43pp. Sample an array of mouthwatering dishes, meats and breads, with vegetarian and gluten-free options available.

Baba Ganouj brings the Lebanese culture to life on weekends with a vibrant night of cocktails, mesmerising belly dance performance and a talented DJ as well as shisha sessions after 9pm for a fully-immersive experience.

So get your Lebanese fix in whatever shape you wish with the restaurant opening from 12pm to late every day. To secure a spot or make enquiries visit their website.
