Big Gay Day returns for its 23rd year!

Prepare for a burst of colour, glitter and the best entertainment line-up we've seen yet!

A rainbow of performers and one of Brisbane’s most iconic venues – The Wickham – will blend together for what is sure to be one of the most exciting celebrations yet, with Big Gay Day serving drag queens, pop stars, DJs and musicians across Sunday, October 1.

Headlined by Peter Andre (we already have our ‘Mysterious Girl’ requests at the ready) and electronic rock duo Rogue Traders, this all-inclusive event will be MC’d by the much-loved Wickham regular Paul Wheeler, serving his trademark quips and quirks as the likes of Sunshine & Disco Faith Choir, DJ Dolly Llama’s Mega Drag Briefs, DJ Johnny Marsh, Adam Noviello, and Brooke McCullen support throughout the night – with many more fabulous names to be announced.

‘Big Gay Day is a day for the LGBTQIA+ and wider community to come together and enjoy amazing acts and raise money for charities that really make a difference. Last year was the biggest Big Gay Day in its history, we sold out and raised $10,000 for charity. We are looking forward to this year being even bigger!’ said Kelly Harrison, The Wickham Venue Manager.

This year, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Australian Transgender Support Association of QLD (ATSAQ) and LGBTQ Domestic Violence Awareness Foundation.

First-release tickets are on sale now – VIP $125 +bf and General Admission $80 +bf. Second-release on sale from July 20. Link here.
