Greek lovers, rejoice: West Village is welcoming another international restaurant to its precinct very soon. Set to open in autumn, Yamas Greek + Drink will offer modern Greek fare, favouring the tastes of the Aegean Sea, with an extensive wine and cocktail list.
The sister restaurant to the beloved Opa Bar + Mezze along the Brisbane River, the team behind Yamas is set to impress with its talented team. Michael Tassis and Caio Rosetto of Fatcow + Lobster are teaming up again to transport your taste buds to the town of Thessaloniki. The menu has taken inspiration from the portside town with dishes like lamb kleftiko, chargrilled lobster live from the tank, and wagyu beef moussaka.
Owner Michael Tassis says he has been looking forward to opening a Greek restaurant in West End because of its significance to the Greek community in Brisbane. With the long line of restaurants under the Tassis Group, Yamas Greek + Drink is set to be another mouth-watering venue in West Village.
