Sprawl out this spring at West End's new Picnic Café

You get a picnic, and you get a picnic! Everybody gets a picnic!

Picnic Café, Camp Hill’s go-to destination for luscious breakfasts and lunches, has opened a second location in West End’s booming West Village foodie precinct. That’s right, brunchers, you no longer have to travel out of the city for your serve of Instagrammable dishes and equally beautiful backgrounds.

Picnic Café has brought back the bright and leafy aesthetic of their first location, making this the perfect stop to celebrate the spring season. Diners can relax and recharge surrounded by greenery for a peaceful indoor picnic—without the grass and critters, thankfully!

If you are in need of a hearty meal, Picnic Café’s dishes are easy on the eyes and on your tastebuds. All your favourite breakfast delights will be served up along with more creative dishes like the Wagyu scotch egg and the Spice Bae chicken burger for lunch.

Bringing us all the more reason to celebrate, Picnic Café has extended their trading hours to 7 am to 5 pm, offering up tasty afternoon snacks like popcorn chicken and patatas bravas from 2 pm to 4 pm. Of course, the drinks menu has had a face-lift as well, catering for everything from boozy brunches to cold-pressed juices after the gym. Or for a sweet afternoon treat, their Biscoff martini (!!!) will leave you thirsting for more.

Gourmands, it’s time to get out the gingham and get your picnic on.

Words by Elyssa Weavers—the gourmand who will take two Biscoff martinis.
