Fiery flavours of Argentina have arrived to South Brisbane

Salud at Calida Argentinian, where Latin flair meets Brisbane's vibrant culinary scene.

Calida Argentinian, the fiery newcomer to South Bank’s vibrant dining scene. Rooted in Argentina’s rich culinary traditions, Calida boasts fine cuts perfect for authentic share-style dining.

Calida isn’t your average steakhouse – it’s the sophisticated yet approachable gem we’ve  been waiting for. With 180 seats, Calida offers an array of seating options from cosy booths to a lively bar and an alfresco area overlooking the twinkling lights of South Bank.

Alemré Executive Group Chef Adam Starr has curated a menu that celebrates Argentina’s culinary heritage with a contemporary touch. Every plate reflects Calida’s commitment to quality and communal dining, from premium S.Kidman Beef to sustainably sourced seafood and enticing vegetarian dishes.

If you ask any of the staff, the empanadas to start are a must – made in-house and served with flavourful chimichurri sauce (double dipping is both acceptable and encouraged). Dive into mains like the expertly grilled rib eye steak, served again with Calida’s signature chimichurri sauce, or take a trip to the sea with grilled barramundi, sautéed white beans and mushrooms.

Like the first espresso martini of the day, the El Postre Rosa, a white chocolate sponge encased in mango gel, guava and passionfruit mousse, and almond and coconut crumb, will have you ordering the picture-perfect dessert on-sight.

And if you simply just can’t decide on what to try, opt for Calida’s Gaucho Selección: a seven-plate feast showcasing the best of their menu. Wash it all down with their signature cocktails celebrating Latin flavours, or explore their selection of local and Argentinian wines.

Salud to a trip to Argentina without the plane ticket!
