It’s been a hellish few weeks for thousands of people in Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales in the wake of the most recent floods. While the cleanup continues, some of Brisbane hospitality’s finest are joining forces in a bid to help those in need.
This Sunday, 20th March, Welcome to Bowen Hills, Alba Bar and Deli, and Savile Row present the ‘Mud, Sweat and Beers’ fundraiser. Kicking off at 3pm and running until late, the event is set to be a vibrant evening of live music, games and copious amounts of food and drink, and everyone is welcome (yes, even the little ones).
If you’re looking to show a little more support, there will also be an exciting live raffle with over $12,000 worth of prizes up for grabs – everything from festival tickets and weekend retreats, to exclusive dinners and bar experiences. You can pre-purchase these amazing raffle tickets here.
All proceeds from the raffle, drink tickets sales and any gold coin donations go directly to GIVIT, who will ensure the money reaches those who need it most. If you can’t make it on the day, you can still make a tax deductible donation to GIVIT via their website.
