We love our footy here in Brisbane, so needless to say we were pretty stoked to hear about the opening of Brisbane Broncos’ new rooftop bar, Sonny’s.
Appropriately named after our beloved Suncorp Stadium, Sonny’s rooftop bar is the newest edition to Brisbane Broncos’ arsenal, and its arrival couldn’t come at a better time. With the Broncos’ 2022 NRL season kicking off this Friday, 11th March, Sonny’s is sure to be the go-to for pre-game warm ups, half-time refuelling and of course, post match celebrations (or, dare we say it, commiserations).
Perfectly positioned with a birds eye view of Suncorp Stadium, Sonny’s is bringing epic rooftop resort vibes to Broncos’ home games. For only $89 pp (plus food and bev), footy fans can level up their game day experience with entry to Sonny’s AND an allocated stadium seat. Bargain! And with capacity to host 150 guests, Sonny’s is predicted to give the Caxton Street strip a real run for its money.
Patrons with access to Sonny’s can tuck into a Tex-Mex inspired menu courtesy of Carlos Tacos, with two fresh tacos for $16 – varieties include Beef Brisket, Slow Cooked Pork, Lemon and Lime Chicken, and Grilled Veggies, each complete with guac, lime, coriander and spanish onion. Y-U-M!
To top it off, Margarita Margarita will be supplying their classic lemon-based marg kit to pump out some of the best margs in Brisbane. Because, what goes better with tacos and footy than an ice-cold margarita? Absolutely nothing.
When the full time final siren sounds, Sonny’s will remain open for an additional hour for late night drinks and bites. So, don’t wander off.
