Patina Restaurant opens sister venue at UQ's Alumni Court

Everything you love about Patina in a stunning new location!

University students will be treated as award-winning Patina at Customs House opens a new contemporary restaurant at the University of Queensland St Lucia campus.

Opening on Monday, 21st February, the team will be bringing their famed paddock-to-plate philosophy and unique shared dining experience to UQ’s Alumni Court. Students, staff and visitors can dine in this 90-seat restaurant across indoor and outdoor dining areas. Perfect for functions, it also provides a private dining room and premium catering services for any meeting, workshop or event. Mirroring Customs House’s iconic copper dome, this venue features brass and copper-coloured finishes and luxe interiors in both the open air and interior space, the heritage-listed former Radon Laboratory.

From 7am, students can grab coffees and an affordable on the go breakfast including exquisite flavours such as Tasmanian smoked salmon brioche and maple glazed bacon brioche to munch on during their lectures.

For diners, Patina has curated a gourmet menu filled to the brim with fresh seasonal produce. It spotlights Queensland delicacies including Darling Downs Eye Fillet, South Burnett Pork Belly and Coral Coast Barramundi, with an endless list of Australian wines, champagnes and cocktails to complement these spectacular tastes.

For those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth, Patina’s sparkling high tea with bite sized treats, and the Espresso martini souffle are not to be missed!
