Because in case you didn't know, Monday is the new Saturday.

If you’ve ever struggled to make dinner plans on a Monday night in Brisbane, you’re not alone. Thankfully there are a select few that ARE open on Mondays, so we’ve put together this handy list guaranteed to take care of all your Monday bookings from here on out.

Because, we should be able to dine out every night, right?

Southside | Fish Lane, South Brisbane 

An urban oasis nestled within the greenery of Fish Lane, Southside restaurant is well known for serving up punchy south-east asian flavours. Whether you’re craving a tangy BBQ pork steamed bun, a refreshing papaya salad, spicy duck ragu noodles just to name a few, Southside has got you covered . For a flavour kick to shake up your start of the week, look no further. 

Hot tip: Get cocktails from Southside’s Kiki bar beforehand and start your night right.

Marinara Ristorante | Clayfield

At Gusto Da Gianni you’ll find all your favourite Italian dishes, with a modern twist. Cru Bar & Cellar | James Street, Fortitude Valley 

Make the most of Brisbane’s beautiful weather with a glass in hand at Cru Bar’s open plan restaurant for the ultimate al fresco dining experience. Greca | Howard Smith Wharves, Fortitude Valley 

A contemporary Greek taverna along the spectacular waterfront, powered by Mediterranean hospitality and a sharing menu inspired by the cultural joy of eating together, Greca is a dining mecca in every sense of the word! Share all your favourite dips and traditional mezedes, and fill your tum with larger plates including moussaka, charcoal chicken souvlaki and their famous slow-cooked lamb shoulder.

Il Verde | King Street, Bowen Hills 

With a menu created from traditional Italian techniques and combined with fresh modern flavours and local ingredients, Il Verde on King Street is a must-visit on a Monday night. Or any night for that matter! 

Featuring rossa and bianca wood fired pizzas, hearty pastas including a portobello mushroom, as well as creamy truffle gnocchi and wild caught prawn spaghetti, Il Verde’s menu is perfect for people of all ages.

Regatta Hotel | Toowong 

Where better to spend Monday night than one of Brisbane’s most iconic venues? With a multitude of different menus, gaming rooms and gardens you are sure to find your perfect Monday evening pozi. 

Choose between the The Boatshed Restaurant (think aged steaks, fine wine or something lighter), The Courtyard (delectable bites and woodfired pizzas), River Road Cafe (breakfast-lunch-dinner by the water…yes please), and a collection of bars: Main Bar, The Walrus Club, Merle’s Bar and The Whisky Club. 

Hot tip: sip on a cocktail and dance to live music in the underground-speakeasy-style Walrus Club.

Beirut Bazaar | West Village, West End

Tucked in the base of the heritage-listed Peter’s ice cream factory, Beirut Bazaar is a hidden gem in the West Village precinct. The traditional menu features an abundance of hot and cold mezzes, including fried halloumi strips and vine leaves, shawarma meats (slow roasted on a spit), and signature dishes including Beirut Bazaar Specialty Chicken (fried Lebanese spice-coated chicken) with coleslaw and chips. 

They even have platters for two or four so gather ye round and head to West Village.  

Hot tip: go to Anita Gelato for dessert.
