Head in to the Regatta’s underground speakeasy The Walrus Club from 5 pm on Sunday, March 7 for Women in Walrus: an all-female bar takeover featuring a cocktail competition (including a signature cocktail round and a speed round), live music and a mouthwatering menu.
As well as all your favourite bevs available to toast to the ladies in your life, The Walrus Club will be running a menu featuring lobster sliders, charcuterie and cheese plates and Reubens with hot smoked wagyu pastrami (drool emoji)!
The Regatta was where Merle Thornton and Rosalie Bognor held their iconic protest demanding service for women in public bars, after all, so we reckon it’s a pretty fitting spot for this ultimate International Women’s Day Sunday sesh!
Entry is free and no reservations are required for Women in Walrus, but you can learn more here.
Keeping The G&G up to date with tasty tidbits requires a lot of lattes and espresso martinis, so we occasionally collaborate with local businesses we love, like these. To see how we can help you out and to learn more about our food-crazy audience, head here.
