Celebrate 10 years of River Quay with a bougie weekend of picnics and more

How time has flown!

South Bank’s favourite riverside dining hub, River Quay, is officially turning 10—with plenty of celebrations to mark the special occasion, of course! As if one day could be enough to squeeze in a visit to all your favourite riverside restaurants, River Quay’s tenth anniversary will span the 27th and 28th of November for a boozy weekend bash.

With three tiers of riverside dining spanning the precinct’s five favourite restaurants (Aquitaine Brasserie, Popolo Italian Kitchen, The Jetty, River Quay Fish and Otto Ristorante), this dining destination will suit every taste.

The ultimate experience will come to life with premium seated picnic options offering up seafood and sparkling sips from $100 for two guests, with menu standouts including Moreton Bay bug sliders (The Jetty), mixed mushroom arancini (Popolo) and fried artichokes with salsa verde (Otto Ristorante).

For a more classic River Quay picnic experience, BYO blanket and dine on the lush green lawn with a hamper filled with gourmet treats and drinks from the neighbouring venues. You can learn more about the premium and classic picnic offers and book in here.

River Quay restaurants will also offer exclusive dine-in options over the birthday weekend, set to stun with seafood platters and bottomless lunches. At Popolo Italian Kitchen, you can feast on a six-course menu featuring meatballs, arancini, and pumpkin and ricotta ravioli for $65 per person. River Quay Fish is the destination for seafood and sparkling sips with a platter for two and a bottle of wine for only $89, while Aquitaine Brasserie will offer two- and three-course menus including a two-hour beverage package with French wines and craft beers.
