Lettuce celebrate all things vegan at Portside Wharf on Saturday, June 11 for the Queensland Vegan Markets.
From 9am to 2pm, Hamilton’s Portside Wharf will come alive with a selection of plant-based food and beverage stalls (think pizza, cookies, loaded fries, burgers and more!), as well as a variety of vegan-friendly homewares and other ethically-sourced goods.
So, to help you work up an appetite for all things plant-based, here’s a rundown on everything you should devour at next Saturdays’s market.
Pippa’s Pantry
If there’s one biz you need to visit at Portside’s vegan markets, it’s Pippa’s Pantry. With an incredible offering of sweet treats, each made with love and containing no dairy, eggs, or gelatine, Pippa has outdone herself with her myriad of desserts.
Take your pick from gorgeous vegan cakes, cupcakes, and sugar cookies – they’re guaranteed to satisfy even the fussiest sweet tooth.
Grassfed Vegan
Grassfed has one word for you: loaded! With a 100 percent plant-based menu of colossal burgers, fries, shakes and more, you won’t be missing your favourite meat-filled fast foods for a second.
But, it’s the loaded curly fries that are truly stealing our hearts – topped with a mix of maple vBacon, vEEF patty, chick’en, pulled “pork”, caramelised onion, mounds of vCheese, all lathered in aioli, sriracha, and smokey BBQ sauce. It’s heaven on a (vegan) plate!
Piante Plant-Based Pizza
It’s all about that base with Piante Pizza – and their super cheezy sauce. In the deft hands of a Naples trained pizza chef, get hungry for authentic, hand stretched Neapolitan pizza that is both vegan and gluten free.

Burleigh Heads Fudge Company
We’re going cocoa-nuts over Burleigh Fudge! At Portside’s vegan market you’ll find stacks on offer from classic caramel fudge to cream-cheese topped red velvet (yum!) and everything in between – honestly, you won’t be able to settle on just one flavour.
And, did you know vegan fudge butter is a thing? Well it is, and we’re so here for it.
Vegan Yumm
Brisbane’s first and only all-vegan bakehouse, Veganyumm is leading the way when it comes to vegan cuisine. The team are masters at providing sweet and savoury goodies like brownies, cupcakes, pies, coffee, and cakes for all occasions.
Word on the street is their ‘cheezey’ spinach rolls and pepper ‘stayk’ pies are the best around, so make sure you swing by and try them yourself.
OMG Decadent Donuts
Portside’s vegan markets are about to get Berry Sinful with the help of OMG Decadent Donuts’ naughty but nice treats. Hot, fresh and dusted in handcrafted sugars, you do-nut want to miss out on their devilishly moorish delights.
As well as being completely vegan, these donuts are free of nuts, wheat, gluten, and yeast for guilt-free snacking. They’re basically bullet-proof.
With tantalising names like Spicy Ranga and Rudie Nudie, you’re in for a holey experience.
Iced Tea Co
We know all this food will leave you feeling mighty thirsty, which is where Iced Tea Co comes in. A Brisbane based beverage company, Iced Tea Co aims to provide freshness with a twist, offering organic, gluten free iced tea, brewed with organic teas and absolutely no nasties.
