Cosy up inside Brisbane’s best winter wonderland at Customs House

Chic igloos with Veuve and snacks? Un-brr-lieveable!

Customs House’s beloved igloos are fast becoming a regular instalment in Brisbane’s winter foodie calendar, and from Thursday, May 18, you can immerse yourself in a Euro chalet experience once again!

Offering their latest pop-up, Veuve Clicquot In The Snow, featuring fancy French champagne and nibbles – this is one winter event you’ll want to add to your schedule.

This winter paradise will see you sipping and savouring on Veuve Clicquot champagne (either by the glass or bottle), in cosy Aspen-themed igloos styled with luxe faux furs, complete with a dazzling view of Brisbane’s iconic Story Bridge.

On top of champagne, guests can also enjoy a collection of Australian, New Zealand and French wines, alongside a range of winter worthy cocktails including the berries and bubbles with fresh raspberry and lemon, Belvedere Pure topped with Veuve, or the Hennessy old fashioned with Angostura Bitters, sugar and orange twist.

Now, before you ask…Yes, the Moreton Bay bug croissants are back! For the duration of the pop-up, you can feast on a Moreton Bay Bug croissant with a lime and dill mayo, fresh Tasmanian Pacific Oysters, and oozing baked whole brie.

More than ready to break the ice and meet this winter wonderland? Make your way to the Customs House terrace Veuve Clicquot In The Snow every Thursday and Friday starting at 4 pm and on weekends starting at 1 pm right throughout winter.

Hot tip: the igloos can be reserved for a minimum spend of $80 per person, with a booking of six required and parties snow-capped at 10.
