Winter may well and truly be upon us (ugh, cold weather amirite?), but from Wednesday, June 16 the Regatta is serving up a sip-erb reason to avoid a three-month social hibernation and soak up some sunshine with their Winter in the Vineyards pop-up!
Running Wednesdays-Sundays from 11:30 am till late throughout the winter months, Winter in the Vineyards will transform the Regatta’s stunning open-air courtyard into a magical winery setting for you to enjoy this chilly season.
Feast on a delicious antipasto-style menu, including the likes of baked brie and goats cheesecake in a sesame pastry crust. For the ultimate outdoor dining experience for two, the Ploughman’s Picnic is guaranteed to hit the spot with a generous share plate of salumi, a bottle of Brockenchack wine and a take-home picnic blanket all for just $80!
Joining the tasty nibbles every Sunday from 2 pm to 6 pm is a mulled wine cart, bringing four flavours to keep you toasty all winter long! Think classic mulled wine, mulled apple cinnamon cider, hot honey mead and mulled rosé, all pairing perfectly with live music from 3 pm.
Need another reason to ditch the winter PJs? On Sunday, June 27, the Regatta will also welcome the Harvest Festival, a special one-off event celebrating local produce and featuring pop-up stalls which boast a variety of local cheeses, antipasto and (of course) more wine!
