Luckily, Treasury Brisbane’s brand-new overwater bar Will & Flow and long-standing restaurant Fat Noodle are throwing NYE events to help you forget the year that was, and welcome in 2021 with open arms (and mouths… these menus are jaw-droppingly good!).
Down by the boardwalk, Will & Flow’s unbeatable overwater setting will transform into a Moët & Chandon Fire & Ice NYE event, with a four-hour package offering up premium bevvies including Moët & Chandon ICE champagne, spritzes, house spirits and selected beers and wines, plus a bougie selection of canapés and live entertainment to keep you celebrating till the clock strikes midnight.
Summer bites on the NYE menu include scallops St Jacques (that’s creamy baked scallops for the uninitiated), oysters with cucumber and finger lime dressing, beef carpaccio and hazelnut milk chocolate bars!
Will & Flow’s delightful New Year’s Eve package runs from 8 pm to midnight, with tickets available here for $269pp—they’ll even arrange transport back to Treasury Brisbane in the heart of the CBD so you don’t have to walk up the stairs… hallelujah!
Speaking of… Fat Noodle is also serving up the goods come December 31, with a celebratory dinner package running from 9 pm to midnight. Chow down on Luke Nguyen’s street eats menu featuring satay chicken skewers, salt and pepper calamari, shrimp pad Thai and PLENTY more while you sip your way through a three-hour package of house spirits, wines and beers.

If you already have plans for the big night (we salute your organisation), Fat Noodle is also running a New Year’s Banquet for two from Tuesday, December 29 through to Sunday, January 3, offering up a five-course menu with Luke Nguyen’s Vietnamese chicken salad, caramelised pork belly and tom yum lobster soup alongside a couple of glasses of sparkling for a bargain $69 (with a public holiday surcharge on New Year’s Day).
