Where to throw your Christmas party

Christmas Party Ideas Brisbane
It seems to happen every year without fail–we forget about organising something for Christmas, December inevitably rolls around, and we all start to panic.

Don’t want to spend this holiday period grasping at straws for a Christmas party venue in Brisbane? Save yourself the hassle and secure your Christmas party spot now–we have a few names to check, no matter what you have in mind…

Rosmarino | Fortitude Valley

With a brand spankin’ private dining room, romantic interior, and courtyard, and a menu of elevated Italian classics, Rosmarino has something for your entire collective. Whether you order a la carte (for groups under six) or go for a shared menu (from $88pp), expect seasonal delights like burrata with truffle abbamele, slow-cooked marinated lamb rump, and the house special macinamisù dessert. For drinks, an extensive wine list will keep everyone imbibed, with a large selection of Etna drops to gift everyone a little bit of escapism this festive season. Learn more on their website.

PAWPAW | EAST BRISBANE

If you’ve ever been to Pawpaw (or stalked their Insta), you’d know this gorgeous space is perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events of all sizes.

Head to the private room, throw back cocktails at your personal bar and dine on delicious Asian fare. Work with the team to create a bespoke menu suited to your group (with plenty of GF and vegan options), and hear your friends rave about the food until Christmas 2021! The space is tucked away with a private entrance and has a speaker system that you can link your playlist to–we predict a lot of Mariah Carey will be blasted at this East Brisbane hotspot… Email mel@pawpawcafe.com.au to sort out your party!

BAR ALTO | NEW FARM

If the river views and rustic Powerhouse vibes aren’t enough for you, check out Bar Alto’s menu of modern Italian eats, and marvellous wine list.

With three spaces to choose from–the park room, the dining room, and the outdoor deck–and a range of dining options including two- and three-course meals, shared feasts, drop off platters and canapés, Bar Alto is the summer party spot of your dreams. Read more and book yourself in here.

NORMAN HOTEL | WOOLLOONGABBA

The Norman Hotel is famous for many things. The rich history of the hotel. The prime range of steaks that are cooked to perfection every time. And, of course, the epic end of year parties that take place there.

With six unique and freshly renovated spaces suited to all kinds of events, the Norman Hotel makes for the perfect Christmas party spot. If you’re throwing something small, we totally suggest ordering off the a la carte menu and take your pick from the 16 steaks, tasty sides, and fresh seafood on offer. If you’re feeding a bigger herd, there’s a range of platters and canapés to choose from–and yes, those iconic Wagyu brisket spring rolls do make the cut.
