After a long and suspenseful wait, Revel Rivermakers has opened around the beautiful heritage-listed Commonwealth Acetate of Lime Factory, tucked in the former industrial precinct in Morningside/Colmslie now christened Rivermakers!
Like a diamond in a haystack, this historic location is a sight to behold with its 30-metre-tall chimney and grand brick facade built in 1917. The Revel brewery has its aesthetic on point with outdoor seating to take in the beautiful architecture and rustic features for the perfect Insta shot.
Fans of Revel Brewing Co. will be familiar with its original Bulimba venue, which boasts some of the finest independent craft beers, wood-fired pizza, and authentic Italian pasta. The Rivermakers location, which has its own deep history in the brewing realm, is the perfect expansion of the Revel business with even more room for potential growth.
Being a farm-to-table restaurant, the cuisine has a refined take on pub food that is perfectly suited for sharing (including those with dietary restrictions and the littlies – they’ve thought of everyone!). For share plates, diners can choose from dishes perfectly suited for drinking like free-range buffalo wings, Frickles, and an antipasto platter. The menu also features a variety of burgers and pub-feed classics, such as the Aussie staple Works Burger with beer-candied bacon and pineapple, in addition to nachos or a chicken parma.
To make the restaurant’s opening even more exciting, Revel has also redesigned their packaging and expanded its range of brews. There are 20 sips on tap, stocking all the classic and coveted Revel bevvies, as well as limited seasonal releases and a respectable line-up of Australian wines.
