New wine bar La Valle pops the cork

Meet the latest from the team who opened La Costa and Cielo in late 2020.

Taking over the spot formerly held by Valley Wine Bar, La Valle is now open Wednesdays-Saturdays for wine-lovers and novices alike to explore as both a dine-in venue and bottle shop (everything is available for takeaway).

Featuring over 200 drops from Australia, Italy and beyond, the team have the sincere goal of establishing La Valle as the centre of a community of wine lovers looking for their next fave sip.

Popular Aussie names like Payten & Jones and Athletes of Wine feature alongside an exclusive allocation of Gabriele Scaglione, Barbera d’Alba, produced in the vicinity of owner Stefano de Blasi’s hometown in Piedmont. The wine-avoidant need not worry, either—beers, ciders, vermouths and pre-batched cocktails are also on offer.

A range of cheeses, charcuterie and conservas including baby sardines, scallops and mackerel served with focaccia and cultured butter are set to whet your wine-fuelled appetite, while more substantial items include filled focaccias (we see you, porchetta, smoked eggplant cream, semi-dried tomatoes and scamorza) and the Bit of everything platter with your choice of cheeses, meats and various antipasti.

La Valle is also set to host regular tastings, exclusive deals, and discounts for its wine club membersstay tuned to their channels for details on how to get on board!
