In 2021, Regional Flavours will take place as three distinct weekend-long celebrations of Aussie produce and food culture, with the first, Grazed and Grown, popping up in South Bank from Friday, June 18 to Sunday, June 20!
With market stalls and local bites, talks and demos by a star-studded lineup of chefs, live entertainment and plenty of spots to enjoy a sunset drink, Grazed and Grown provides the perfect setup for a winter weekend out (and think of the Insta-opportunities, my goodness!).
The Marketplace will be the centre of the action with 40 stalls selling fresh produce and artisan goods including sustainably farmed meat and poultry from 9Dorf Farms, marinated olives and olive oils from Coolbardie Olives and booze from names including Brookies and Straddie Brewing Company. Better yet? It all comes from within 250 km of Brissie!
South Bank’s beloved restaurants will be serving up food from delicious street stalls, too, with names including Aquitaine, the newly opened Nonnas Pizza and Deli, The Charming Squire and Zeus Street Greek all plating up ready-to-eat snacks and meals to fuel your shopping.
Over in The Kitchen and The Greenhouse, talk and demos by leading names like Matt Moran, Alanna Sapwell, Louis Tikaram and Georgia Barnes will offer some inspiration and food for thought, while live entertainment across the Sunset Stage, Sunrise Stage and The Country Club bar (where craft brews and signature cocktails await) will provide the perfect backdrop for enjoying some great local fare.
General admission tickets are just $15.85pp (or $10.75 for kids between 12 and 18) and available on the Grazed and Grown website, where you can check out the detailed program for the weekend, too.
