Treat yourself to locally focused dining and drinking at these 4 exclusive events

Regional Flavours is back with some special events in tow!

Brisbane’s best celebration of local is back in 2021, split into three weekend-long events that kick off with Grazed and Grown from June 18 to 20!

In addition to all of the fun on offer with general admission (we’re talking a foodie marketplace, live entertainment, and talks and demos by Australia’s top chefs), four signature events are also on the agenda to add some extra *seasoning* to your Grazed and Grown experience.

Tickets to each event come in at $91.30 and include access to the stunning River Quay Green, with unparalleled river and city skyline views and plenty of open space for kicking back, snapping the perfect riverside Insta, and stuffing your face with the goods on offer!

Opening party | Friday, June 18 at 6 pm

Celebrate the commencement of Grazed and Grown (and the long-awaited return of Regional Flavours) at the exclusive opening party!

Your ticket will get you a signature cocktail on arrival, three dishes crafted by South Bank’s premium riverfront restaurants, Popolo, The Jetty and Aquitaine complemented by our best-loved, local tipple producers, Stone & Wood, Brisbane Distillery and Sirromet Wines, and two tokens to redeem for #dranks at the bar.

The stunning open-air setting will provide the perfect backdrop for rubbing shoulders with some of the nation’s top chefs, and the bespoke bars and live DJs will guarantee a good time! You can nab your spot at the Grazed and Grown opening party here.

Love Thy Neighbour | Saturday, June 19 at 12 pm

Here’s your chance for an escape to soak up some winter sun without worrying about getting stuck on the wrong side of the border! Love Thy Neighbour is a lunch all about highlighting the honest and ethical small businesses of the Byron Bay region including Harvest Newrybar, Stone & Wood and Brookies Gin, with vino by Sirromet Wines.

You’ll get a taste of the Bay with a cocktail on arrival, three dishes devised by some of Byron’s top chefs, and two tokens for drinks redeemable at the bar, including Byron-brewed beers and botanical cocktails! Buy your tickets here for this unmissable lunch, bae.

Winter Feast | Saturday, June 19 at 6 pm

Rug up to get down with this romantic celebration of the upcoming Winter Solstice! Featuring a three-course meal created by the vibrant Alastair McLeod with the support of Brookies Gin, Sirromet Wines, Stone & Wood and our local producers. As well as plating up wholesome seasonal produce, the Winter Feast will also play host to live music, setting the scene for this enticing event.

As the sun sets, you’ll be greeted with a signature cocktail on arrival, and will receive two tokens to redeem on a selection of local wines and beers to pair with your meal. You can buy tickets to this special riverside dinner here.

Crafted | Sunday, June 20 at 12 pm

Three words: gin and beer! This lazy sun-soaked lunch will hero everything we love about those two iconic bevvies, with sips by Stone & Wood and Brisbane Distillery in the spotlight.

You’ll enjoy a three-course lunch created by well known local chef Josh Lopez using botanical elements and native flavours, with a twist, as well as a signature cocktail on arrival and two drink tickets ready to be redeemed at the bar! You can grab tickets to the brew-tiful lunch here.

We’re not saying we’re challenging you to do all four Grazed and Grown events, but… If general admission is more your style, head here

Keeping The G&G up to date with tasty tidbits requires a lot of lattes and espresso martinis, so we occasionally collaborate with local businesses we love, like these. To see how we can help you out and to learn more about our food-crazy audience, head here.
