There’s a new wine bar in town: Butler Wine Bar joins Fish Lane

You know where to find us.

If you’re like us and can’t get enough of Lune Croissanterie, you’ll be pleased to know that this fabulous team is set to open a brand new venue on Thursday, July 7.

Introducing, Butler Wine Bar

Boasting just 35 seats, Butler’s intimate dining area stretches the bar with banquettes and al fresco seating available. You’ll have to be quick to snag a comfy booth though – this local neighbourhood bar is about to be the go-to spot for cosy catch-ups and late-night dates.

Keeping with the pared-back vibe, Butler’s food menu consists of considered and sustainable cuisine, highlighting the tastes of Queensland. From snacks to share plates, you’ll be grazing on prawn tartare with macadamia cream, boozy spiced madeleines with brandy caramel, and mushroom tarts for hours on end.

Although you may be sceptical about a bar created by pastry geniuses, Butler’s extensive wine list is nothing to be scoffed at. The selection covers all your vino-needs with locally-brewed beers and specialty cocktails, with a twist on the classics. Perfect for winter, the pumpkin highball and miso old fashioned should be top of your must-try list.

You’ll find Butler positioned perfectly next to Lune on Fish Lane (or, 15 Manning Street, South Brisbane), open from 4–11pm Thursday–Monday.

Head to their website for more info or to take a squiz at a sample menu!
