Sip out the season at these 6 pop-up bars

They're here for a good time, not a long time!

As the weather warms up, there’s just something about a pop-up bar! Whether you’re all about cheers-ing in style or just keen to try somewhere new, we’ve picked five pop-ups to experience ASAP.

Summer Nights at BQ| Brisbane Quarter

Taste a little trip to Italy, with the Malfy Gin pop-up at Brisbane Quarter providing the perfect spot for knockoffs or pre-drinks before heading to one of the neighbouring restaurants! Running from 5:30pm to 7pm every Thursday in November, the Summer Nights menu features fresh Mediterranean flavours like blood orange and thyme to complement the Malfy Gin, while the pop-up also offers live DJ tunes and plenty of photo ops! Head up to Persone, Tenya, Phat Boy, Phoenix or the W Brisbane’s WET Deck, Living Room Bar or Three Blue Ducks once you’ve whet your appetite.

Aperol Spritz pop-up bar | Eagle Street Pier

You can’t beat the classic Aperol spritz! Get down to Eagle Street between November 10 and December 18 to pull up a spot at this riverside pop-up with cocktails by COPPA and bar snacks from Fatcow Steak & Lobster, Rico Bar & Dining and City Winery available to order directly from the bar. The Aperol Spritz pop-up will operate Wednesdays-Saturdays, 12pm-7pm opposite City Winery.

The Fish Shoppe | King Street

Two words: lobster rolls. That’s right, this seafood and spritz pop-up by the team from One Fish Two Fish is only hanging around until Christmas time, serving up lunch-worthy faves like seafood sangas, burgers and salads alongside an after-4pm menu with a “seacuterie” platter for sharing as well as the aforementioned crustacean delight! Read more about what to expect here.

In Full Bloom | Regatta Hotel

The Regatta’s courtyard bar has been transformed into a pastel floral paradise, complete with a warm-weather menu of share plates (we’re talking fried prawn tacos, mushroom sliders and salumi plates), pizzas and cocktails! Sundays will see the spritz cart roll out from midday to 5 pm, with live music to suit. The perfect spot to enjoy some early summer sunshine? We think so!

Chandon Garden | Riverbar & Kitchen

Scone in one hand, spritz in the other! This pop-up is celebrating all things Chandon Garden, the new pre-mixed spritz that’s a little bit floral and a whole lot refreshing. Head down by the boardwalk to try it for yourself from the pop-up menu, or plan a Spruced with Spritz high tea offering loads of snacks and a spritz for just $50pp! Read more here.

Moët & Chandon Rosé Garden | Customs House

Pull out that pink ‘fit you’ve been saving; here’s the occasion! Customs House’s pop-up bar is a seasonal fave (and for food reason), with premium champagne and cocktails on the menu as well as THOSE to-die-for Moreton Bay big croissants. Pull up a spot inside a gorgeous floral dome, order another glass of Moët & Chandon rosé champagne, and snap that double-tap-worthy Insta. Read more about the Rosé Garden here.

Once you pop, you can’t stop…
