Stokehouse Q | South Bank
Aussie Day snags, but make them posh AF. Stokehouse Q’s executive chef Ollie Hansford is already a certified true blue legend after announcing his posh sausages, available on the Australia Day holiday. The three snags on offer include lobster and scallop sausage with pimped tartare, chicken, rosemary and truffle sausages with sticky shallots, and wagyu beef sausages with caviar dressing.
Munich Brauhaus, Beerhaüs and The Bavarian | Various Locations
Heroing Australian-made beers all weekend long, The Bavarian is dishing up some epic Aussie eats, including the Australia Day loaded schnitzel, topped with bacon, fried egg and Australian cheddar cheese, and a giant Bunnings-inspired hot dog. At Munich Brauhaus, expect to see inflatable beer steins floating around as well as a DIY zinc booth, before Monday’s recovery session with live acoustic music for those who may have had one too many steins.
