The new Valley bar inspired by the golden age of the Gulf of La Spezia

Quick trip to the Italian Riviera, anyone?

With three unique venues already sharing a roof, Brunswick Street’s La Costa has welcomed yet another: The Parlour! Inspired by the glamorous past of Italy’s notorious Gulf of La Spezia, or Gulf of Poets, this stylish bar is giving you the chance to experience a little bit of la dolce vita…

Like sibling venue Cielo, The Parlour boasts an extensive cocktail list specially curated by the team behind the eleventh best bar in the world, Maybe Sammy. Broken into literature-inspired Classic Twists and Signature sips, the cocktails have been crafted to provide a multi-sensory experience and pay homage to the iconic writers and artists that once flocked to the summer paradise on Italy’s coastline.

The Italian escapism continues with the team’s array of tempting cicchetti-style eats also available to devour. Feast on the likes of beef carpaccio with parmesan, pine nuts and truffle oil, paprika-spiced calamari, and cheese and charcuterie boards that’ll be sure to have you saying “mama mia”

Decked out with comfy booths, romantic lighting and marble tiles, The Parlour’s interior draws on the retro elegance and coastal glamour of the Gulf to create an elegant but exciting setting in which to indulge.

With a DJ also serving banging tunes every Saturday, this moody bar is the perfect spot for leisured indulgence, lingering liaisons or a late-night boogie. Learn more and book your visit to The Parlour here!
