Brisbane City welcomes versatile Japanese restaurant Tenya

Itadakimasu!

Located in Brisbane Quarter’s international dining precinct, the brand new Japanese restaurant and bar Tenya is serving up stunning views, brews, and a diverse array of authentic and modern Japanese cuisine.

Overlooking the Brisbane River, Tenya patrons can choose from dining in the expansive dining room, outside in the fresh air with a gorgeous backdrop, or in a series of authentic private dining rooms.

The menu works through classic sections including tempura snacks and skewers, small rice dishes, sashimi and sushi (including some fusion rolls), and hot dishes. The lunch menu offer some specials, too, including traditional three- and five-course set menus and bougie noodle dishes including a seafood and vegetable tempura udon.

For bespoke experiences, head chef Yang Zhou will be offering meals in a premium private dining room with omakase counter, creating the menu on the fly using the best seasonal produce right before your eyes, including super secret dishes and desserts (’cause you can never have too matcha!).

As well as a formidable list of sake, wines and beers, Tenya also offers 25 cocktails! So, kanpai gourmands—we’ve got a  challenge ahead of us!
