Where to wine and dine for Riverfire 2021

Riverfire Brisbane 2018
Riverfire: Saturday, 25 September 2021

The beloved Brisbane Festival is coming to a close in the brightest way possible… enter Riverfire.

Brisbanites will flock in their masses to get an eyeful of the pyrotechnic extravaganza that is Sunsuper Riverfire on Saturday, 25 September, so we’ve rounded up some spots to watch (and eat and drink) the brightest night in Brisbane.

RIVERBAR AND KITCHEN | CBD

Riverbar and Kitchen is here to make sure your Riverfire night goes off with a bang. Celebrating the biggest night in Brisbane, enjoy a $135pp two-and-a-half-hour package that includes entertainment, booze, roving canapés and not one, but TWO charcuterie stations—need we say more? Boasting 180-degree views of the river and the Story Bridge, this riverfront oasis is loved for its chilled atmosphere, perfect location, and enticing eats—not to mention the unobstructed views of the fireworks. Head to Riverbar’s website for more info here.

Jade Buddha | CBD
Party the night away with a three-hour food and beverage package and 180-degree river views for $125pp! As well as Aperol spritzes, wines and beers, you’ll enjoy Jade Buddha’s irresistible Asian-style canapés in the chic setting of the Shadow Lounge between 5 pm and 8 pm, with live DJs to set the mood, too! Doors open at 4 pm, so get in early to nab a prime viewing spot for the main event! Head here to nab your tickets while they’re still available.

Alchemy | CBD
Avoid the crowds and go gourmet at Alchemy, with incredible river views to top off your meal! For $150pp, enjoy a glass of champagne on arrival and a three-course meal, with options including gnocchi marinara with prawns, octopus, calamari, and scallops, quail with truffled custard, field mushrooms, broad beans, baby leeks and jus gras, and Alchemy’s signature tiramisu for dessert. Should the fireworks not go ahead (TOUCH WOOD!), you’ll even get a voucher to use in future! See the full menu and book your spot here.
Fiume | Howard Smith Wharves
Get thee to a rooftop with serious kick-on potential atop Crystalbrook Vincent! The views don’t get better than this, and neither does the experience, with spuntini (Italian-style canapes), a beverage package including spritzes, and DJ tunes to complement your annual Riverfire experience. Tickets to the three-hour event are $220pp and available here.
Eagles Nest | Kangaroo Point

Hang where the eagles do this Riverfire at Eagles Nest, where the $229pp package will have you enjoying a food and beverage package from 5 pm, including spirits and cocktails. There’ll be live entertainment and a photo booth for some cute mementos, too! Grab your tickets here.

One Fish Two Fish | Kangaroo Point
If you’re braving the crowds for a stellar spot atop Kangaroo Point cliffs, make sure you have enough fuel to get through the night by picking up takeaway from One Fish Two Fish en route! As well as old school fish and chips (battered, grilled or crumbed, of course), you can grab freshly shucked oysters, snacks like soft shell crab bao buns, and even handy packs for two or four. Browse their menu and plan your drive-by on their website.

Baby, you’re a firework!
