The Sunshine Coast Asian Food Festival is returning in 2021

All aboard the flavour train.

Back for its fourth year, the wildly popular Sunshine Coast Asian Food Festival will call the rainforest grounds of Spicers Tamarind Retreat home on Saturday, February 28!

The Tamarind’s highly acclaimed head chef Daniel Jarrett has prepared a menu of modern Asian street eats, like crispy fried chicken ribs with black pepper and ginger caramel, okonomikayki rice bowl, and Korean bulgogi brisket burgers (try saying that over and over). There’s even set to be an exclusive dessert collaboration with Maleny Food Co.!

There will be plenty to sip on, with wines courtesy of Brockenchack Winery and tipples from Noosa’s Fortune Distillery including gin and vodka cocktails.

In addition to the multitude of eats and drinks, The Tamarind’s talented chefs will be on hand, ready to guide you in Asian cooking demonstrations, while awarded sommelier and GM of Clovelly Estate, Peter Marchant, treats you to an exclusive riesling masterclass.

Bring your own picnic blankets and cushions to lounge on as you soak up the stunning natural surrounds and enjoy chilled live entertainment and gourmet nibbles.

Tickets start at $125 and include entry to the festival, five food tickets (one from each food stall) and two drink tickets, with upgrades available like the riesling masterclass and a four-hour unlimited beverage package–grab yours here!
