AGNES
While the Valley is one of Brisbane’s best spots for a bite to eat and drink, the corner that Agnes now calls home sat dormant for too long. 2020 was the year this changed and Agnes was born–taking things back to basics by using the ancient skill of cooking over a flame to deliver modern, innovative fare.

Cosy, welcoming, and utterly delicious, Mosconi is the perfect spot for a long boozy lunch, date night, or celebratory meal. While the menu changes monthly, Mosconi is always cooking up stunning European dishes, alongside an A1 wine list. Plus, we hear that work is underway to expand Mosconi’s Valley home! Saganaki by the pool? Only at Hellenika! A star of James Street, Hellenika sits pretty inside The Calile Hotel, serving looks AND modern Greek cuisine. Whatever you do, ensure you leave room for baklava.
NETHERWORLD
Whether you’re an arcade game nerd, a board game lover or just on the hunt for a new drinking hole, Netherworld has you covered. With 40 odd arcade games and countless consoles along with an extensive bar with over 24 beers on tap, there is something for everyone. It would be a sin not to mention their Hellmouth Diner, dishing up vegan-friendly goodies for lunch and dinner, including their cauliflower drumettes and vegan chicken nuggets.
ETERNA
A taste of Rome in the heart of the Valley, Eterna is a welcome addition to Brisbane’s Italian dining scene. Slinging classic pastas and cocktails till late, we suggest making time in your next Valley adventure for a big bowl of Eterna’s carbonara.
