Spring foodie events worth getting dressed up for

It’s the season of florals–the perfect time to enjoy some midday sunshine before summer arrives to fry us crisper than a prawn cracker!

If sipping sparkling and devouring delicious canapés is your idea of a good time, you’re going to love these stylish spring events with a foodie focus.

SPRING RACING CARNIVAL  | EAGLE FARM RACECOURSE

Melbourne Cup may be the horse race that stops the nation, but it is by no means the only race happening this spring. Spread across five race days, the Spring Racing Carnival at Eagle Farm will be the place to be this spring, where racing, entertainment, fashion and fun come together. The carnival will kick off on Saturday, 12 October with the family-friendly Clayfield College Family Race day, followed by St Rita’s College Caulfield Cup Ladies’ Day, Suez Cox Plate Day and Padua College Derby Day the weeks thereafter, before culminating in the Melbourne Cup, shown live on the largest screen in the Southern Hemisphere.

Moët Rosé Garden | Customs House

Speaking of all things pink, also making you blush this spring is the Moët Rosé Garden at Customs House! Launching Thursday, September 26 and popping up Thursdays-Saturdays from 4pm until late, and Sundays from 12pm to 4pm, not only is this bar stocked with Moreton Bay Bug croissants and bottomless pink champagne, but its location next to the river will make taking the perfect Insta shot easy breezy.

Sea to the City | Eagle Street Pier

Be a sight to sea while attending to your seafood cravings at this year’s Sea to the City event! Hosted by a number of your favourite restaurants along Eagle Street Pier (think Customs House, Jellyfish, Riverbar & Kitchen, and more), this decadent bug and oyster trail promises the very best seafood Brisbane has to offer on Sunday, October 13. Buy your tickets here.

ROSé REVOLUTION | OLD MUSEUM

When it comes to backing a good cause in Brisbane, look no further than drinking pink at the return of the Rosé Revolution on Saturday, November 16. Taking place from 3pm-6pm at Bowen Hill’s iconic Old Museum, Rosé Revolution promises guests the best of everything pink, including pink raffles, AIX rosé, gorgeous canapes, live entertainment and more, with proceeds from tickets (and raffle sales!) going to The Hunger Project, who aim to end world hunger by 2030. Learn more about the event and the two package options available along with booking your ticket of choice here.

Whether you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion, or just get dressed up on the weekend, these spring foodie events will have you feeling well-fed and fabulous!
