This new Palm Beach bar is serving up coffee, sangas and wine

Palm Beach's latest one-stop shop...

Scott’s Luncheonette & Bar is Palm Beach’s newest addition, catering to all needs from dawn to dusk.

Early birds can look forward to starting their day with Veneziano coffee and a gourmet brekky sarnie while late-comers can stroll in for lunch after a dip in the surf (just one block away, might we add) and grab a gourmet sanga.

The eatery is also open into the evenings, making it the perfect spot to catch up with a friend for a sunset vino and charcuterie board, or something more substantial like classic French moules et frites.

Multi-award winning bartender Perry Scott is going back to basics and making them damn good, with the creations ranging from chicken with coconut and ginger chilli jam, tomato, cheddar, Kewpie mayo and rocket to crumbled fetta and Oaxaca cheese toasties served with pork broth for dipping.

With over 20 years in the bar scene, it’s no surprise that Scott’s will be serving up a wide range of both international and Australian wines and, of course, a few cocktails.

Staying true to its simple but sophisticated nature, classic concoctions like margaritas, negronis, mojitos, martinis, and spritzes will be flowing, and guests can also expect to sip on some of Perry’s own creations like The Strummer, named the official drink of Splendour In The Grass in 2005 and invented during his time running the backstage VIP bar for the last 18 years.

You’ll find us sipping on a vino when Scott’s Luncheonette & Bar opens on August 11.
