Setting up shop at the Gold Coast on the weekend of Friday, January 15-Sunday, January 17, SCOOP! will be a multi-sensory playground of dessert and entertainment, with all the ice cream you could ever want, pop-up beer gardens, sideshow rides, dips in Lake Evandale, and some of Australia’s best circus, cabaret and acrobatic performers!
The Gold Coast’s premier culture and entertainment precinct, Home of the Arts (HOTA), will host the festival-style celebration across eight sessions, with world-class performers wowing crowds with performances across the weekend. We’re talking big-name acts like Circa, Hoopla Clique, Flipside Circus, Company 2 (who will tightrope across Lake Evandale)!
As for the scoops, an irresistible Ice Cream Village will host a variety vendors serving their very best, alongside savoury eats and plenty of drinks.
For the gourmets out there, the adults-only Ultimate Ice Cream Experience is a five-course sweet and savoury ice cream degustation paired with a selection of boozy beverages, priced at $120 and available at five sessions.
The 6 pm-9 pm sessions on Friday and Saturday will also see the site transform into CLUB SCOOP!, with boozy ice cream combos, after-dark tunes and entertainment, and lots of cold ones for the grown ups.
