Not your average Italian restaurant - say ciao to Italia Lane

A brand new, Italian eatery is about to shake up Fortitude Valley. That’s amore!

From the minds behind Dalgety 2.0 Public House comes a brand new restaurant hidden in a laneway in the heart of Fortitude Valley. The new venture from Marc Kimmich and James Griffiths, Italia Lane, is set to defy conventionality by featuring a large menu of pizza, pasta and charcuterie but with a twist.

With the creators’ origins stemming from the Amalfi Coast and greater Italy, the intention for the restaurant is to emulate the approachable yet bustling vibe of a street café in Italia (sounds right up our alley).

The brand spanking new space will include three different zones for a versatile atmosphere. A large restaurant, a magical outdoor laneway adorned with lights: perfect for music lovers seeking to vibe out with musical talent over the weekends, as well a hideaway for those wanting to nibble during a meeting.

You can’t go past the lineup of food that’s set to cover breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between with a spotlight on share plates. However, the pizzas are likely to be a sure-fire hit as the head chef and a huge handmade pizza oven both hail from Italy. There will also be a large selection of pastries and breads fired-up for early risers on their way to work or those looking for a sweet treat after lunch or dinner (yum)!

Complete the experience by indulging in their extensive wine and cocktail beverage menu with a dedicated spritz section. So gather your friends, share the carafes of zesty Aperol and limoncello spritz or opt for a classic bellini as you listen to live music in the laneway when Italia Lane opens.

Stay tuned and prepare your tastebuds for Brisbane’s newest stand out Italian restaurant Italia Lane in mid-October.
