Say Ciao Papi to Brisbane’s new pop-up restaurant!

Move aside, buoys – there’s a new Papi popping up in Howard Smith Wharves.

Ciao, foodies–you can’t go antipasto this!

Howard Smith Wharves has teamed up with their own ARC Dining to bring you old-school cooking and trattoria vibes in the form of Ciao PapiBrisbane’s soon-to-be favourite new pop-up Italian restaurant!

The first of what is expected to be many pop-up restaurants, Ciao Papi promises to transform the deck of ARC Dining on Wednesdays-Sundays into an Italian paradise filled with heaping serves of pasta and charcuterie made by Alanna Sapwell, The Courier-Mail’s Queensland Chef of the Year.

When it comes to red-checkered dining, Alanna ticks all the boxes! Expect to see her roll out menu highlights like grilled artichokes with stracciatella and salsa verde, buttered pappardelle, crab ravioli, and an irresistible beef ragu.

As for those who’d prefer to soak up the view alongside light snacks and Italian wine, look no further than Ciao Papi’s gorgeous mortadella and hand-cut salami antipasti that pairs perfectly with a glass of chianti.

What inspired this al fresco affair under the Story Bridge, you ask? According to Howard Smith Wharves director Adam Flaskas, it’s all about giving the people of Brisbane something new to enjoy (and we couldn’t be happier!)

“We’re always looking for new concepts to keep things evolving at Howard Smith Wharves, so we are really excited to kick off our new pop-up restaurant program,” Adam said.

Ready to come to Ciao Papi?

You can catch them popping up at ARC Dining on Wednesdays to Saturdays between 12pm-11:20pm, and Sundays between 12pm-10pm.
