Savour the Tweed is Back Bringing Five Days of Flavour, Culture and Connection

Clear your diary and loosen your waistbands, because Australia’s tastiest playground, Savour the Tweed, is back from 22 to 26 October.

This region-wide festival is set to serve five days of pure flavour, culture and connection.

In just its second year, the festival is already setting the bar high with 35 unmissable events dotted across The Tweed region, from the coast to the hinterland. It is a celebration of what happens when farmers, chefs, distillers, winemakers and food lovers come together. Expect seasonal feasts, masterclasses and pop-ups in unexpected places. It is not just about eating and drinking… it is also about making connections with the producers and the people you share a table with.

Bundjalung chef, Mindy Woods, culinary icon, Christine Manfield, Movida’s Frank Camorra, Shortgrain’s Martin Boetz and beloved author, Belinda Jeffrey, are just a taste of the talent making their way to The Tweed. And the settings? They’re as unforgettable as the food. Picture secret speakeasies tucked into heritage buildings, long lunches overlooking the Tweed River, pasta-making on an organic farm at golden hour, and community banquets under the stars in Pottsville. From coast to hinterland, every event feels like it’s been designed to show off the region’s natural beauty.

Signature highlights include Walking Together, a powerful First Nations and Indian-fusion dinner blending food, song and storytelling; the Girl Gang Lunch, which brings together powerhouse female chefs and producers; and Fire & Forage, where Tropical Fruit World will be transformed with game, seafood and foraged-fruit ice cream cooked over open flames. Add to that rum-fuelled suppers at Husk Distillery, a Spanish-inspired feast at Bistro Livi with Frank Camorra, and the creative mash-up of Cheese, Clay & Culture, and you’ve got a festival program as diverse as it is delicious.

Whether you are a die-hard foodie, cocktail sipper or just here for the vibes, Savour the Tweed is your chance to taste The Tweed region’s heart on a plate. Five days, countless flavours, endless connections.

So gather your crew and book your favourite event!
