Here’s some news to get you howling with excitement, Brisbane. Scottish craft beer trailblazer BrewDog are heading down under, bringing more beers than you could throw a stick at.
DogTap Brisbane is the first of its kind to arrive on Aussie shores, with the state-of-the-art taproom and brewery set to shake up the brew game this summer. Opening its doors next month by the banks of the Brisbane River at Murarrie, the attached brewery is set to push its first beers off the line in January 2020.
Consider your summer plans sorted as you work your way through DogTap’s 28 unique taps, headlined by BrewDog’s signature craft brews including the industry-shaking Punk IPA and a rotating list of local guest beers. The wine-list will offer exclusively Aussie wines and the spirits list will be heavy on local drops, too.
If you’re hungry like the wolf, DogTap’s comprehensive menu of classic bar eats will hit the spot. From some epic burgers, dogs and wings to fresh share plates like barramundi fritters and crispy pork cheeks, every dish on offer will match perfectly with a cold one. DogTap will also be serving up a brunch menu every weekend, featuring some BrewDog favourites like eggs Benny, chicken and waffles, and loads more.
The passionate team at BrewDog have travelled the world to spread their passion for craft beer, and we have a feeling that Brisbane will welcome DogTap with open arms and wagging tails.
