Queen’s Wharf Goes Pink for Brisbane Festival

Brisbane Festival is about to take over the city, and Queen’s Wharf is at the heart of the action. For 22 days from Friday 5 September, the precinct will be awash in pink as it transforms into a playground of eats, beats and unforgettable experiences.

Food lovers are in for a treat with a line-up of limited-edition dining events across the precinct’s signature restaurants. Think bottomless feasts, golden hour cocktails, and exclusive land and sea inspired menus served with sweeping views of the river and skyline. Sokyo, Aloria, Cucina Regina, Black Hide Steak and Seafood by Gambaro, Azteca, Lúc Lǎc, Dark Shepherd, Pompette, HUA, Babblers, and Cicada Blu will all be part of the feast.

For the best seats in town during the festival’s spectacular moments, Queen’s Wharf has created something truly special. The Landing, a brand-new outdoor hotspot at the river’s edge, will open just in time for Riverfire by Australian Retirement Trust. With a 600-seat grandstand, pop-up bars, roving performers and street food favourites, it is set to be the ultimate viewing spot. The Landing will also host the breathtaking Baleen Moondjan ceremony and Skylore, the dazzling drone and light experience that will light up the night sky. For those who want an even higher perspective, The Terrace and Sky Deck will offer unbeatable views as hundreds of drones soar above the city.

The entertainment line-up is just as impressive. From opening night when Major Musiq hits the stage, through to DJ sets from Ladyhawke and a grand finale with Groove City, the precinct will be buzzing all September.

To toast the celebrations, Queen’s Wharf bars and restaurants are serving a festival inspired cocktail. The Festival Delight, available at Cicada Blu, Cucina Regina, LiveWire and Lobby Bar, puts a spring spin on a Turkish Delight Martini with floral flavours and a sweet twist.

The Star Brisbane’s Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Finch, says the precinct will showcase Brisbane Festival in a new light. “Partnering with Brisbane Festival allows us to celebrate colour, creativity and world-class experiences while highlighting the exceptional performances that ignite our city. Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will be the destination for the best seats, eats and beats this September.”

From 5 to 27 September, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will be the place to celebrate the city’s most vibrant festival with food, music, culture and views you will not forget.
