Are you ready to try the best souvlaki, haloumi, calamari, and honey puffs that Australia has to offer? Look no further than Paniyiri, Brisbane’s longest running Greek Festival, which will be returning to Musgrave Park in South Brisbane in May!
Everyone is welcome to come and join the fun. Bring your friends and family along to join the 50,000 people who attend the festival every year and enjoy a non-stop lineup of entertainment, all while dining on authentic sweet and savoury dishes from multiple foodie stalls.
The stalls are all run by various Greek associations and other Greek Orthodox Parishes who fundraise for their own charities- so you can leave knowing that you’ve feasted for a good cause.
And it’s not just food! Paniyiri Greek Festival is a multi-sensory experience where everyone is encouraged to dance the Zorba, learn about Mediterranean cooking, taste Greek wines, cheer on the plate smashers, and shop from the market stalls.
There will be a jam-packed schedule of things to see and do, including a pop-up Greek Village where visitors can enjoy the sweet Greek life without needing their passport!
All of this fun and food can be had on Saturday May 18 from 12pm to 10pm, and Sunday May 19 from 10am to 7pm.
Early Bird Tickets are now on sale, with adult tickets starting at only $12- so get them while they’re hot here.
