Now you Nodo: Brisbane’s newest brunch affair

Every foodie worth their avo on toast knows that when it comes to boozy brunches–or just straight-up booze–Newstead’s the place to be!

But for those drinkers looking to trim the beer belly or shift the focus to small-batch brewers? We have just the tip(sy) for you.

Newstead favourite Nodo Donuts is expanding from gluten-free desserts and brunches and going scotch-free and crafty with their latest offering, the Nodo Boozy Brunch!

Starting from today, Nodo is serving you and your weekend crew a delicious new brunch with a difference. Taking a yin yang approach to an otherwise decadent affair, Nodo is set to balance out the indulgence that is their brunch menu with cleansing cocktails, boutique beers, and refreshing craft ciders.

At the heart of Nodo’s boozy business is a focus on all-natural and quality organic ingredients sourced ethically with fair trade in mind.

Yes, my eco-conscious friends – we’re talking delicious G&T’s garnished with Australian native flora, ales from local micro-breweries, and unique Nodo cocktails including acai spritzes, mandarin mimosas, an irresistible Cuba Libra (Nodo’s classic rum and coke with a native twist), and their signature donut martini!

“We’re very excited to be working with some unique craft alcohol producers and suppliers to provide a dedicated gluten-free, local, and organic drinks menu to match our famous brunch,” says Nodo’s general manager Rhys Crowley.

“We’ve worked very hard to source producers who are passionate about ethical alcohol that’s fun, including fair-trade cacao liqueur from Peru, native spiced butterfly pea flower gin, and collaborative farming champagne from South Australia.”

With the exception of those under 18 (you can’t sip with us), drinks at Nodo are available for all to enjoy between 10am-3pm every day of the week!

Ready to meet your new brunch bae? Then book today at Nodo’s Newstead location.
