Night Feast: Where Food, Art and Music Collide

New Farm’s leafy burb’ transforms into a playground for the senses this October…

Newfarm’s vibrant Night Feast is returning this October from the 4th to the 29th, when Brisbanites can get their hands on more than just food with public art, music and sensory entertainment on the table too.

Set against the backdrop of the lush New Farm Park and the rustic industrial charm of the Powerhouse, you’ll spot other worldly creatures, incredible live music and roaming performances.

Although, when we say just food, we all know that’s not how we feel about the culinary arts. Our city’s leading chefs will be providing the goods with returning crowd faves like e’cco bistro, Donna Chang and Wonderbao joined by newcomers like Southside, Bar Alto and NOTA. So prepare to get your gob around anything from birria tacos and duck and waffle to a mezze feast to feed the whole fam.

But while you’re walking around trying to stuff a taco in your face, as delicious gorgeous juices drip down your chin, set your eyes on the work of award-winning artist Bridie Hooper for circus sonic wonder. And keep your eyes peeled for the multi-limbed illuminated giants  – although they’re pretty hard to miss – or the roaming musicians serenading through the festival.

But if you need a bit of a breather, The American Express Garden Lounge might provide you a bit of respite. Ah, the serenity!

Night Feast will be open from Wednesdays to Fridays 4:30pm-9pm and 3-9pm on Saturdays and Sundays. And you can take the pressure off the parking thanks to Brisbane City Council who’ll be running free buses to and from City Hall!

Get ready Brisbanites!
