With two-hatted restaurants, the iconic Brunswick Picture House, and pristine beaches, the traditionally sleepy town of Brunswick Heads is now home to the contemporary and inviting eatery, Bounty.
Situated on the picturesque Brunswick River, Bounty’s food is inspired by the multicultural and shared nature of Australian cuisine, heroing seasonal produce. Their menu will rotate on a weekly basis while ensuring dairy-free, meat-free and gluten-free options are always available. With an interior palette inspired by the land, sea, garden and pantry, we’re predicting wholesome food to match! With four distinct menus (breakfast and lunch, meals on the go, sundowner and dinner) there is something for any time of day.
Breakfast and lunch will be chock-full of premium fresh ingredients with healthy options such as coconut yoghurt with grape compote and pistachio granola, or for a smaller bite, choose from a range of toppings for fresh Bread Social Danish rye or sourdough slices. Mix things up with wholesome, tasty options like potato latkes with slow-cooked eggs and a choice of beetroot or spinach hollandaise. Lunch will be heavily focused on light and fresh plant-based dishes. Among the choices there’s spicy baby kale salad and crunchy, fragrant bhel puri (puffed rice, vegetables and a tangy tamarind sauce). Local meats and seafood will also feature in the casual menu.
Their takeaway on-the-go menu will include sticky Danish cardamom buns and donuts, baguettes, and salads for picnicking, as well as their own range of dukkah, honey and linseed crackers. Freshly made juices, smoothies, and coffees will quench all thirst levels and their partnership with Seven Mile Roasters will provide you with the perfect brew to kick off your perfect Brunswick morning.
For those keen for nibbles at sunset there will be plenty on the go, but the REAL focus is the cocktails (which we are allll about!). Inspired by modern Australia, native botanicals and local spirits will be the base for their range of signature cocktails. The wine list will showcase the best family-run and boutique wine makers around, while three beers, each with a distinct flavour profile, will be on the go.
The dinner menu will showcase the transition between casual and fast-paced to become more polished and elegant. Candles will be lit, and antique cutlery laid to present their fixed course family-style menu. Five courses will be chosen by table guests and shared – one from the land, sea, garden, and pantry – and, of course, the fifth course is dessert! Conversation and vibrant offerings will be the perfect ingredients to make your night as bountiful as can be.
