Brisbane foodies, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and prepare for a feast like no other, because Midtown has just launched House of Lobster, a decadent four-course dining experience that’s all about our favourite crustacean.
And if that’s sounding a little familiar to you, it’s for a good reason. The gone-but-never-forgotten Kangaroo Point staple, One Fish Two Fish, used to do their House of Lobster around this time of year, and the owners have kindly brought it back with a fresh coat of paint and a fun twist.

Tucked away on Manning Street in South Brisbane, Midtown has already made waves for its playful take on elevated dining. Now, they’re turning things up a notch with a menu that celebrates lobster in every single course. Yes, you read that right, every course.
So, what’s on the plate? To kick things off, you’ll sip on a Lobster Bloody Mary, a cheeky twist on the classic, spiked with Skyy vodka and Old Bay spice. Then it’s onto the Lobster Toast & Caviar, golden-fried and topped with avocado and a pop of luxury. The main event is the Tropical Lobster Mornay, baked to bubbling perfection under a rich béchamel and cheese crust, complete with Midtown’s signature chopped salad and Cajun fries. Finally, because no indulgence is complete without something sweet, you’ll wrap things up with a Mango and Coconut Cheesecake that tastes like a tropical holiday on a plate.

The best bit? You can level up the experience with a curated wine pairing for $95 per person, each drop carefully chosen to bring out the best in those buttery, ocean-fresh flavours.
Priced at $125 per person, House of Lobster is available Tuesday through Saturday evenings. If you’re looking for something more exclusive, groups of 6–10 can also book private Friday and Saturday lunches throughout October, with the entire venue at their disposal.
Whether you’re planning a luxe date night, rounding up the crew for a celebration, or just in the mood to treat yourself, Midtown’s House of Lobster is the kind of dining event that makes a night out feel extra special.
So if lobster is your love language, consider this your sign. Seats are limited, so hop to it… this is one Brisbane dining experience you won’t want to miss.
