The Triffid

Newstead has a new go-to live music venue, and they’re serving out some pretty killer eats too!

Having played host to some household names (Conrad Sewell, anyone?) the Triffid is no stranger to feeding the 5000, or just one with a hell of an appetite.  Settle into a stool in the beautiful beer garden and chow down on what the kitchen has to offer; including a trio of seriously good sliders (chicken, haloumi or beef).  Maybe a hot dog will tickle your taste buds, or you’re tempted by their bite-sized bar treats with a difference (Karaage chicken bites? yes please!)

So if you’re looking for some terrific new tunes or a big burger to fill that Friday afternoon work void, The Triffid is definitely worth the trip out
