Tucked away in a leafy street in New Farm is The Balfour Kitchen, housed in a sprawling old Queensland with wrap around verandahs and al fresco dining in the garden. While most visit to stay the night in the boutique Spicers Balfour Hotel, you’ll find us stopping by for breakfast or lunch on the breezy verandah.

Dishes so Instagrammable they should be on a pedestal come out of the award-winning kitchen, and if one meal isn’t enough for you, you can always try the tasting menu for dinner. Interpreting modern Australian as fresh, seasonal and making use of native produce, this menu never fails to impress.
