Julius Pizzeria

Sibling to the much-adored Brisbane institution Beccofino, Julius Pizzeria is an uber-trendy Italian joint in the perfect position for pre-show dining. Exposed brick walls, polished concrete floors and pendant lights provide an elegant backdrop for pizza-stuffing, linguine-slurping (not so elegant) and espresso sipping by day or night.

In their imported Stefano Ferrara Forni from Naples, they wood-fire classic pizza variations to serve alongside pasta, antipasto, protein-packed mains and sweet Italian desserts. Expect to find pizza favourites like Margherita, marinara and prosciutto, plus a few more indulgent styles like the Tartufo, topped with a rich pork and fennel sausage, roasted Spanish onion, truffle paste and mozzarella. Beccofino’s infamous duck ragu is also on Julius’ menu, as rich and meaty as the original.
