In an untapped corner of Fortitude Valley, an old brick warehouse has been transformed into Agnes—a restaurant and bar celebrating the art of wood-fired cooking.

Agnes takes things back to basics, using no electricity or gas and focusing on the ancient skill of cooking over a flame with a modern, delicious twist.

Celebrated chef and co-owner Ben Williamson works with regional suppliers to offer the freshest meat, seafood, poultry and vegetables. At Agnes, the focus is on quality and flavour, featuring seemingly simple dishes made with the finest ingredients. Diners can expect a changing, seasonal menu reflecting the best produce available.

A visit to Agnes isn’t complete without checking out their intimate downstairs wine bar. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and a bar snack, or stay for an aperitif after your meal. Guests also have the option to enjoy a drink on the upstairs terrace, offering views across the CBD and Fortitude Valley.
