A new bistro brewery is coming to Brisbane City

Something is coming to the heart of Brisbane City, a place where good eats meet brewery treats. Located in the middle of Ann Street, this will be the new it-spot for afternoon work drinks or midday lunch feeds.

Little Miss Sunshine, a newcomer to the city scene, will be dedicated to serving up the finest of Queensland’s culture. With a menu inspired by Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern travels, a connection to local producers and a chef’s creative journey, mouths will be watering in no time. We’re talking smoked paprika calamari and lamb gözmele for starters, followed by Moreton Bay Bug spaghetti, 250g rib eye steak with red wine jus and Lebanese Shish Taouk flat bread to keep you full. And while you’re at it, why not add a side of their green pesto broccolini and fresh tabbouleh salad.

If you’re looking for something a little lighter to enjoy with your bevs, you can opt for a bucket of their harissa, hickory sauce or honey soy marinade wings or perhaps a few pizzas for the table.

While chowing down the selection of food on offer, you will also need something to wash it all down. Thankfully, there is a clutch of in-house brews, poured alongside other Queensland-made craft beers and mainstream favourites, to quench your thirst. For the non-beer lovers, a signature menu of cocktails and curated wine list will also be available.

The 250-seat, light-filled space attempts to encapsulate the Sunshine State, with a mix of warm timbers and sturdy brick fused across the two levels. The alfresco space is designed for afternoon catch ups over drinks, while their mezzanine level is more secluded – ideal for dinner dates or big group gatherings. The bistro is fitted with terrazzo stone tops, bumblebee-yellow leather booths and flashing neo signs to give off that summer vibe.

So ladies if you’re looking for your man in finance – blue eyes, brews and bites – head on down to Little Miss Sunshine when it opens on Monday, July 29.
