Sitting pretty on Montague Road, Brisbane Distillery has just opened its brand new West End venue, with an impressive bar, industrial fit-out, and state-of-the-art Gin School.
Brisbane Distillery’s bespoke boozy masterclasses are perfect for those wanting to learn all there is to know about gin, and have some sipping fun in the process. The newly expanded Gin School gives guests the opportunity to craft their own drop, selecting botanicals from a whopping range of fruity, citrusy, spicy, and woody goodies.
Boasting 30 individual copper stills, temperature-controlled hotplates, and apothecary-style shelving accommodating 150 custom tins of botanicals, the school can cater for groups but specializes in intimate experiences, ensuring you get down and dirty with the stills, ingredients, and process.
With help from the expert distillers, you’ll learn about the history of gin, the secrets to flavouring the perfect batch, and get set up at your own still to start the distilling process!
The two-hour sessions include drinks and refreshments throughout, before you’re invited to stay on in the stunning new bar space, with G ‘n’ Ts, punchy cocktails, and tastings aplenty, all featuring their unique range of gins, vodkas, and rhums.
