Bow down to Ippin Japanese Dining at West Village

Itadakimasu!

If you’ve walked through the lush gardens at West Village recently, you couldn’t have missed the precinct’s latest luxurious eatery taking shape inside level two of The Garden Pavilion. Behind the grand doors awaits Ippin Japanese Dining, now open with a multitude of stunning fittings, droolworthy fare and possibly the most welcoming staff you’ll ever meet.

The open air restaurant boasts unparalleled views of West Village with a diverse array of Japanese cuisine to top it off. Featuring glittering chandeliers, a bespoke moon sculpture and rustic exposed brick walls, Ippin provides a dining experience like no other.

Ippin is helmed by Kenny Lee, restaurateur and owner of Sydney’s revered Kuon Omakase, Allta and Funda restaurants. In collaboration with head chef Tatsuya Miwa and owners Helen Lea and Jane Ma, Kenny has devised both lunch and dinner menus that feature traditional seafood starters, sides, mains and desserts.

Until April 17, the team is showcasing its culinary talents with an exclusive chef’s tasting menu ahead of the grand opening on Tuesday, April 18. The chef’s menu features grilled yakitori, succulent wagyu beef and tantalising seafood like toothfish and tempura cuttlefish.

With a striking chandelier overhead, the private dining spaces are also a must for those looking for their next knock-off drinks with the office. Or if you’re interested in a moody date night spot, we guarantee Ippin will impress.

Get your appetites ready for the grand opening on April 18, head to Ippin’s website to book now.
