Broth and roll, baby – vegan ramen is coming to The Flying Cock

It may be the end of The Coop Bistro, but like a phoenix out of the ashes of all-you-can-eat nuggets comes The Flying Cock’s newest eatery, I Like Ramen.

Put away the parmies and say goodbye to $3 tacos, because Ramen’s the name and vegan’s the game.

While we’re more emotionally confused than we were seeing Venom (the movie’s so bad, but Tom Hardy’s so hot), we’re excited to gorge ourselves on bowl after bowl of 100% plant-based ramen, including activated charcoal noodles and spinach noodles.

But ramen is just the beginning. There will also be a mouth-watering selection of other eats likepanko-crumbed mushroom & kimchi bao, so stay tuned.

Co-owner David Flynn is sad to see The Coop Bistro go, but says that plant-based dining is “something we’d like to see more of in Brisbane, and we’re proud to be bringing something very different to Fortitude Valley.”

You’ll have a chance to say goodbye to The Coop Bistro up until October 20, with the last nugg club taking place on the 20th, parmy nights finishing up on the 17th and $3 tacos leaving us on the 18th.

What are your thoughts, ramen and ra-women?
