Taking over the cavernous Howards Hall (which has gone long unused), Felons Brewing Co. is expanding into the venue to introduce the new Felons Barrel Hall.
A new range of wine barrel-aged beers forms part of the key offering of the new space, imparting flavour to the beer and providing a unique visual feature—these exploratory new brews are set to be available late 2021, in addition to the brewery’s existing collection.
As for the food, Felons Barrel Hall’s menu will echo much of the Wharves in starring local produce, and particularly seafood; there’s Moreton Bay bug loaded fries, sustainably caught coral trout, and plenty of veg and salad options to feed a crowd.
In addition to family-friendly tunes, Felons Barrel Hall is also set to host emerging artists, leading performers from around the country, and viewings of arthouse films and interactive performances.
Open from 11 am till late every Thursday-Sunday, Felons Barrel Hall is a must-visit destination for beer lovers, and a fresh addition to the buzzing Howard Smith Wharves ecosystem.
